Food by Julie is a small family business set in the rural Thames Valley village of Tidmarsh, which has evolved over the last 24 years and provides a high quality catering service in Berkshire and neighbouring counties. Central to the busy Reading Business Centre and in close proximity to the M4 and London venues.

Menus & Style of Food
At Food by Julie, we specialise in providing superb contemporary and classic dishes skillfully prepared and stylishly presented. Our bespoke menus are inspired by seasonal and locally sourced produce of only the finest quality which is carefully selected by Julie herself.
Business Entertaining
We provide appetising and delicious food for working lunches, business meetings and training seminars as well as directors' dining and conference receptions all beautifully presented in the form of canapes, finger and fork buffets.
Fully served menus may be prepared, cooked and served on company premises to a standard equal to that of a top class restaurant or bistro style, providing the kitchen facilities have initially been inspected to ensure that we can produce the chosen menu. Time restrictions often apply to any business lunch, and we will take this into consideration when planning a menu.
Private Entertaining
We provide fine quality restaurant/bistro style food for private dinner parties thus recreating a restaurant environment in your home for any occasion; a special anniversary or birthday dinner, a family celebration meal for a larger number of guests or a dinner to introduce new business colleagues. We provide hot and cold fork buffets as well as canapes and finger food for christenings, funerals and special family occasions. Hog Roasts and Barbecues are popular when larger numbers are to be catered for, and a less formal event is required. However formal or informal an event, we can provide the style of menu and service to suit.
Prices
Since our food is homemade, it is naturally more labour intensive. Our prices may reflect this, but we hope that our clients will choose not to compromise the quality of the food for the sake of the price!
Other Services
We will be happy to advise on marquee and furniture hire, musicians and entertainers, flowers, celebration cakes etc. We will arrange the hire of all the relevant quality tableware, glassware, linen and disposables where applicable, as well as heavy kitchen equipment and refrigeration, and other accessories required to service an event.
Drinks may be provided on a sale or return basis. There is usually a corkage charge if customers supply their own drinks but require us to set up and serve. This merely covers glassware and any equipment and service by our bar staff.
Service Staff
We will provide smart uniformed professional waiting staff to service an event. Our staff are friendly, polite and efficient, and will be on hand to assist you and your guest
